write today to talk a little about what happened in the Mission The Borbollón 2009.
As some know, I am a missionary of the Institute of Our Lady of Consolation, founded by Blessed Allamano in Piedmont. Well, I integrate the JMC group in my province, where several young men, along with some members of CML and many, many people work for the mission ...
This year the mission was conducted in the locality of El Borbollón Department of Las Heras in the province of Mendoza, Argentina. Once there was the feast of the Epiphany or Three Kings Day. It was an amazing experience, many children attended and participated in the games. By late morning shared, they were given chocolate and cakes, invoices, etc. and a bag of candy.
After the celebration held in the Borobollón Borbollón Up and Down, we are dedicated to the mission Romera neighborhood by neighborhood, St. Thomas Aquinas, The Collective, Old Village, Route 40 and homes for Down to Borbollón. In the Mission neighborhood shared a moment with people, they told us while we listened to their reality and in turn we had them part of our reality and the work we were doing in the area. We also shared a prayer when people so desired, respecting one of the principles missionaries without imposing Understanding. We
merchandise and clothing to some of the neediest households, and every day we share the Mass with Borbollón community who supported us from the beginning and gave us all her love.
Anyway, that's a small account of what happened between 03/01 and 11/01.
finishing the post to go add one last thing: outrage we felt after doing the mission neighborhood, is incomprehensible so much poverty. We can not have in a country as rich as many people die of hunger, can not be whole families living than they take out the rubbish, garbage that we throw away every day. How can people have the power to change that situation and not do it because they find it more convenient to have these people in poverty?
innentendible the situation is, at one point came to a ranch a cane, plastic and clay where the children were naked because their parents had no dress shirts and one said: "This is the poverty line are going to find, but walked two steps forward and we found even poorer people ....
No description for the lived and felt during this mission. Simply we have to continue helping and working with these people, so when the time comes to a new destination from missionary something has changed in their lives and their reality.
Folks, if we do not help his brother, we were equal to those politicians of both we complain. You have to give up what has not, to give until it hurts. We can not forget about who is worse off than us, because if we we have the right to live, they DO NOT HAVE THE MINIMUM NECESSARY TO SURVIVE !!!!!!
