The need to cover a belief is to explain, in one way or another, everything still seemed to have no explanation. And give some comfort to those who feared the mystery.
The growth of a belief is a process similar to the fantasy of a writer following his work. His world is generated from a proposal that is consistent and justified by the needs of one's initial fantasy. And the existence the real believers are giving themselves. Everything
intangible beliefs (myths, nationalities, emotions, religion) begins to take some consistency from the support which gives its own existence.
In "Six Characters in Search of an Author" Luigi Pirandello's own life shows that the characters begin to have invented. From a certain point, the author stops and starts fantasizing about the need to keep consistent.
