When viejardos remember El Club del Clan, we support all around a series of reviews of all types:
* But what you talk?
* Phew, that was not music.
* All singing covers.
* It was a commercial invention sold well.
* Not even transcended.

All this is partly true and partly not. But we will divide this essay between what was "New Wave" and that television program record label, which became an essential part of an emergence of young singers in the world of national spectacle.
Until the late fifties, folk music Argentina had three important aspects: the tango, folklore (by then it was said folklore) and world music (Latin jazz). But in 1955, from the United States advanced a new trend so strong that today continues to prevail about the music popular around the world: rock and roll.
rock wave in Argentina codend to many young people began to cultivate the music of all idols, Little Richard, Guy Mitchell, Jerry Lee Lewis, and especially the two great: Bill Haley and Elvis Presley. For some reason
market expansion, however, the writers (who were those who decided) that they came to adapt native music artists, in English and then in Castilian.
late fifties figures had appeared as Mr. Rolls and Rockets, with the voice of Eddie Little Ones, but soon grew voices in English: Babie Bell, Elder Barber, Rocky Pontoni, Luis Aguilar, and first great idol of crowds: Billy Cafaro. Showed that it was getting good for the extensive introduction of national heroes. Two struts
movement would launch the great Argentine pop: Dino Ramos representative and the manager of RCA Victor, the Mexican Ricardo Mejia. It was very simple: leveraging a group of young men who sought to sing through a television program, when private television that was installed with everything in the country, and television sets were selling like hotcakes. The rest of the record labels (EMI Odeon, CBS, Columbia, Argentina Music Hall, Philips) had to leave the intersection with its proposals, quite similar: many idols jóvenes.
recorders managers wanted to sell more albums and they did. Inadvertently created a musical movement, invented teen idols internationally valid as Sandro, Leonardo Favio, Piero, Leo Dan, Pink Floyd, The Cardigans, or Barbara and Dick. Continued in the country with the pop craze started in the 40 with Sinatra, and followed with Presley in the 50 and 60 with the Beatles and Rolling Stones.
This philosophy is continued from the 70 national rock bands, great dimensions as Vox Dei, Manal, or Almond, in 80 with Seru Giran or High, at 90 to Soda Stereo.
Although the idea was to bring more profits to big companies.
